Only TOGETHER!

When we see a nation that rejects certain groups of its own people; when we watch as they are singled out, ostracized, marginalized and basically tossed away like garbage, how does that make us feel? When we see and hear about babies being slaughtered and the governments and peoples that allow and condone these atrocities, what do we think? When we are confronted by a country executing their own, how do we react?

What I see, at least from most Americans and Christians is a righteous anger, compassion and a willingness and passion to help end these terrible evils. We as a people and a nation will rally together and go to great lengths to eradicate these things we find abhorrent and vile. We stand together for value of life, mercy, forgiveness, respect and dignity; for all. As well we should.

My question is: where are all those good Americans and Christians when it comes to our own people, those right here at home?

We allow abortion, we have the death penalty, we have the world’s largest prison population, and we have masses of humanity on our streets…..with NOTHING! This list is obviously not all inclusive.

We must come together in love and acceptance. We must reach out in service to one another. We, as a nation, make so many claims in this world of ours as being the leader for all that is good. Then let us be that leader, united in service, to eachother and all.

Let’s get it together people. We must stop turning on one another. The adversary is winning by the simple strategy of “divide and conquer”.

We must unite for only TOGETHER, can we change the world!
