Do You Remember?

Do you remember that time we had been messing around in the house, just absolutely acting the fool and we found out dad was on his way home? It doesn't matter which time, pick one! But, do you remember? Yes indeed, wooo-oooohh, I feel it to this day, that moment of realization: "OH CRAP, ARE WE IN TROUBLE!?!?!"

And with that jolt of a wake up, we sprung into action. Do you remember? Somebody yelled,

"We've got to get ourselves together and our house fixed up RIGHT NOW! DO NOT let him walk in that door and see life like this!"

We moved and boy did we move quick. Oh man was I sweatin' it. We certainly tried and we did an okay fix, you however were brilliant. When you heard dad pull up you told us all to keep working and only say "sorry dad" when he walked in the door.

We were so close in having everything right, yet it didn't matter, we were going to have to own up to what we did. There was no way he was not going to know. He always knew, even when he acted like he didn't.

You met him as he stepped out of his car, "We screwed up. I'm sorry. We all are. We are working on getting everything back together."

Do you remember that? Man oh man, yeah, we still got busted but it could have been a whole lot worse.

Do you remember?

Well you better, because we need to get moving! Tell everyone: "HE IS ON HIS WAY AND HE IS NOT HAPPY!!!"

"OH MY GOODNESS, DO WE HAVE WORK TO DO!"

"OH CRAP, ARE WE IN BIG, BIG TROUBLE!"

"Let's move! Do everything we can before HE gets here!"

"And you better be sorry, or you will be sorry!"

And please, would someone get out there and plead our pathetic case?! I'll keep working on things over here.
