You Are Awesome! (Yes, YOU!)

YOU are AWESOME!!! It’s true!!!

Stop with the self doubt already and do not buy into anyone else’s negative garbage either. Here are some examples of things I have been hearing lately: “my house is a wreck”; “I never have enough time”; “my wife left me”; “my job/boss is horrible”; “I have no money”; “I am too tired”; “I have this horrible past”; and one of my favorites: “I’m so fat!”

I don’t give the smallest pebble of a mouse turd about excuses and all the” for whatever reason I can find justification” for an “I CAN’T’” attitude.

YES YOU CAN!!!

You have great power within yourself; a life nourishing, life enriching, and life giving power! All it takes is a choice!

You can choose to be honest. You can choose to forgive. You can choose to love. You can choose your attitude.

Rather than react today, how about choosing to respond? There is a difference.

Take a moment and find one thing in your life you can be grateful for. Embrace that and treasure it.

Do you have ears that work? Maybe you could listen a bit. Do you have hands that work? Maybe you could reach out to someone whose don’t. Do you have life experience? Maybe you could share it.

Each one of us has some sort of gift, some blessing endowed to us by our Creator and King of The Universe. YOU have something of great value to offer: YOU!

Become the very best you can, you owe it to yourself and our family, the human race needs you!

Here are a few ways to get started doing just that:

A morning program: prayer, meditation, quiet time (whatever you want to call it)

Plan for the day (a simple to-do list)

Time management (168 hours in a week, break it down, you will be surprised at the kind of time you will find)

Read/listen to books

Build a positive, healthy support network

Implement a healthy diet

Exercise (not just physical; mental, emotional and spiritual!)

Remember: we are spiritual beings having a human experience.

Choosing To Matter, one day at a time.

YOU are AWESOME! YES, YOU CAN! Now get out there and “Rock The House!”

Personal growth and development; finding ways to continually become the best versions of ourselves and then giving our best selves to others…that is the solution to all of the world’s problems. My Lord simply calls it:……….LOVE.
