It's A Love Revolution!

Here’s a question…do you know Jesus? No really. Not know about Him, but really know Him? You need to…He is freakin’ awesome! And I want you to know I am not going to lecture you about all the “no’s” and “do nots”, we all know about them much too well. Instead I prefer to share with you about all the “yes’s” and the “please do’s”. It’s all about “right relationship”; it’s all about goodness and light; it’s all about love.

Jesus is a rebel and a revolutionary. He is also a convicted felon that was executed. Don’t think He is not. He stood up for all the outcasts, rejects, poor, and all those marginalized by the power and religious elite. He chooses and associates and calls friends those who so many point the finger at as “sinners”.

He opposed the intolerance, the judging and the hypocrisy by employing tolerance, acceptance, forgiveness, mercy, compassion and love. And sinners we are yet because of the love Jesus has for each of us, He came to us, became just as one of us; human in every way yet, loved and taught a way of love and “right relationship” like no other.

Then because He is The Lord Jesus of Nazareth, King of The Universe, He accepted the public humiliation and death of a state criminal and in doing so took on every sin of every human being that has ever or ever will be committed.

Then because He also happens to be the God of the impossible, He was raised up from that death as the conqueror of sin and death.

He now offers us, all of us, one the most beautiful gifts of His love: Redemption. This most glorious gift came at a very high price, but we can’t just “take” this gift, rather we must truly receive, unwrap and embrace this gift and live it.

He chooses and wants people like me and like you. He wants warriors for His kingdom. That would be us. We must be the change we desire to see in this world.

Now is the time. We must focus our attention and our desires on coming into “right relationship” with all things and all areas.

Do not let society and the world overcome you with their chicanery. Relationships and love are the most important things we can ever have in our lives.

The war is raging…warriors are needed…love does indeed conquer all.

If you feel rejected, alone, abandoned, ostracized, condemned, shunned, labeled, ridiculed or any feeling that makes you feel the outcast, it’s time you know the truth; from the man who changed the world.

We must come together. We must learn and grow…together to look out for, to love and take care of one another. An era of great struggle will come, if not already here. The time of events written of long ago will come. We are gonna need each other.
